Inclusive Package Tours & Tariff
Visitors may experience Bhutan only on all-inclusive package tours for which a fixed daily tariff is set by the Royal Government of Bhutan. The daily tariff is in the US$200-US$250 range, varying according to season and size of group and also nature of tour (i.e. trekking or cultural).
Tour Rate:
- US $ 250 per person per night (Mar, Apr, May, Sept, Oct, Nov)
- US $ 200 per person per night (Jan, Feb, Jun, Jul, Aug, Dec)
- US $ 20 Bhutan Visa fee per person (per one time visit)
FIT Surcharge
- Single Individual: US $ 40 per night per person
- Groups of 2 persons: US $ 30 per night per person
- Group of 3 persons and more: FIT Surcharge is waived
The Tourism Council’s surcharge policy for FITs is in addition to the tour rates given above
Supplements
- Four wheel drive vehicle: US $ 65-80 per day per vehicle
- Language speaking Guide (Chinese,French, German, and Japanese): US $100 -150 per day per guide
Standard Hotel Supplements:
- Standard hotel suites: US $ 130 – 175 per night per double/twin room
- Standard hotel deluxe rooms: US $ 70 – 90 per night per double/twin room
- Standard hotel ordinary single room: US $ 45 per night per room
- US $ 20 Taktsang Monastery excursion horse ride per person
Discounts
- 10 + 1 pax: 1 pax 50% discount
- 15 + 1 pax: 1 pax Free
- Royalty for children below 12 yrs of age accompanied by a guardian/parent is waived. Child should be below 12 years at the time of their visit
What is included and not included?

- All Accommodation in standard hotels (Double/twin sharing)
- All porters, camping gear ( if on trek)
- All meals (but not beverages; lunch and dinner in upscale hotels restaurants). Bottled water is complimentary in the car/coach
- All transfers (4×4 Toyota car/mini bus) and sightseeing within Bhutan
- Services of an accompanying English speaking local tour leader/ guide
- Fees for museums and permits to enter temples & monuments
- 35% government welfare tax (used for developmental projects) & tourism development fee
